Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, HEC Data Minds has been unable to offer in-person events in the fields of Data Science (events that would have usually taken place either on campus or at company offices). As a result, we were extremely happy to be able to continue our activities by offering an exclusive Webinar with Celonis on April, 20th, 2020.
30 students joined for the Webinar with the Academic Alliance Manager of Celonis, Josephine Hubert. Josephine first introduced Celonis, a tech-unicorn founded in Germany with offices around the world and clients such as Lufthansa, L’Oreal, Airbus and many others. Celonis pioneered Process Mining, a technology to analyze process data of businesses and transform business processes across industries and countries. Josephine described the theoretical foundations of Process Mining and explained that this technology had its origins in academia and has a growing interest in its own market.
Afterwards, Josephine gave a Live Demo how the the Celonis Intelligent Business Cloud analyses processes and then the students could try out the Celonis cloud solution and show their own process mining skills in the Pizza Case Challenge.
